From 2015, Blueseal will be saying: BPA-NI is the new standard

Pano is switching production of the PVC-free Blueseal^® lug caps for all oil-based and less aggressive fillings to interior coatings with BPI-NI as standard from 2015. In Blueseal^®, Pano is systematically pursuing what has already been started in phasing out PVC and plasticizers: the highest possible level of food safety.

BPA-NI can be used up to normal acetic-based fillers without prior testing, however, for more aggressive content (silver onions, sulphured products) we recommend conducting a pack test first. By the way, if requested, we can also switch from lug caps containing PVC to BPA-NI.
