Over 1 billion BLUESEAL® caps sold! Learn all about the PVC-free cap at BIOFACH 2017.
A lot has happened at Pano. We would like to warmly invite you to visit us at BIOFACH 2017 in Nuremberg.
At the beginning of November 2016, we exceeded the 1 billion mark in sales of the BLUESEAL® PVC-free lug cap! The BLUESEAL® cap is inexorably establishing itself as an ecologically exemplary innovation in the field of jar closures, since it fulfils the calls of today’s consumers for packaging that is perfectly safe and conserves resources.
The demand is growing and growing. From 2017, Pano will produce PVC-free on five production lines. To be able to make sufficient quantities of material available at the prefabrication stage, an additional painting line has been put into operation in the new production building.
We look forward to stimulating discussions at BIOFACH. Schleswig-Holstein and the EU are supporting our commitment to PVC-free packaging solutions. For this reason, as in 2016, you will find us at the joint booth of the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Agriculture:
February 15-18 in Hall 9, Booth 335C
Participating again in 2016: Pano at the BIOFACH from 10th to 13th Feb. 2016
Also in 2016, Pano will make its presence felt at the BIOFACH at the common booth of the Ministry of Agriculture of Schleswig-Holstein. Find out in a personal meeting more about the Pano BLUESEAL® PVC-free lug cap and its benefits.
The BLUESEAL® is particularly suitable for use as a glass cap for bio-products. Freedom from PVC implies more food safety and thereby increased consumer safety. Thus, the BLUESEAL® cap introduced in 2011 will increasingly replace the old PVC caps. Many leading companies in the food industry are BLUESEAL® customers today.
Visit us at the BIOFACH 2016 to discuss your requirements and our solutions.
If you are interested in changing over from a PVC cap to the PVC-free Pano BLUESEAL®, we would be pleased to make you an offer! To ensure a smooth transition, we will assist you with our know-how – if required, also on-site during your production process.
Visit us at Stand 327 in Hall 9. We are looking forward to meeting you.
New: Practical Guideline for your line personnel
Our new Guideline for processing Pano BLUESEAL caps makes it easier for your personnel working on the machines to check the sealing results on a regular basis.
It specifies all the measurements to be taken after sealing and post-treatment. Besides, the personnel working on the machines will also get to know the method of testing the compound impression. Everything is explained in simple step-by-step instructions along with helpful illustrations.
We will be glad to send you the printed moisture-proof Guideline upon request. Alternatively, you can download the Guideline here.
Ready for download: Our new print specifications
While designing the cap decor, the graphic designer must attend to many details. This is because caps are printed on a sheet of tin or aluminium and then brought into the desired shape.
Theoretically, caused by the shaping process, the typeface could get too close to the lower edge or appear directly on the edge of the compound canal or face side. To avoid this, it is important to know the exact location of the face side, the button, the edges of the compound canal etc. This allows you to place the text and image elements of the decor precisely in such a way that the print result meets your demands.
Our new print specifications include all details about designing the decor and creating your print templates. Here, you will find all dimensions for placing texts and images. Optimised information graphics make it easy to understand the structure of the caps.
We recommend to download the specifications. The PDF replaces all of our former print specifications.
