2. Legal basis

In general, we collect, process and store personal data (and user data) to fulfil the contractual purpose. Furthermore, data is collected in accordance with the principle of data minimisation in order to protect our legitimate interests. Here, careful consideration is given to the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

In cases where personal data (and user data) is collected beyond the contractual purpose or in order to protect our legitimate interests, you as the user must actively consent to such use. This consent can be revoked at any time with immediate effect. To do this, simply send us an email to datenschutz@pano.de.

3. What data is stored?

Every visit to our website and every retrieval of a file stored on the website are logged. The storage of data serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following information is logged: The page from which the file was requested (referrer URL), the name of the retrieved file, the date and time of the retrieval, the volume of transferred data, notification about the successful retrieval, the web browser and the requesting domain. Anonymised IP addresses of the requesting computers are also logged.

Further personal data will only be collected if you voluntarily provide this information, for example when submitting an inquiry or registration, or if you send us an email.

Some of the web pages use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are sent to your computer over the internet together with the data you have actually requested. This data is stored on your computer and kept ready for later retrieval.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called session cookies. These are deleted automatically after your visit has ended. Other cookies remain on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can configure your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and you can permit the storage of cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. Deactivating cookies may partially restrict the usability of the website.

4. Purposes of processing personal data

Where personal or business data (email addresses, names, postal addresses) can be entered on the website, the user submits such data explicitly on a voluntary basis. This data is processed and stored solely for the purposes stated on the page where the data is entered. Such data will likewise be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed to third parties. It will not be associated with the access data stated above. The same applies if you send us information by email.

Personal data will only be disclosed to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes if this is required by law.

Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

The open-source web analysis tool Matomo (formerly Piwik) used by this website also uses cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of how you use the website. For this purpose, the information generated with the cookie about the usage of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is anonymised before it is saved.

The information generated by the cookie about the usage of this website will not be disclosed to third parties. You can prevent the storage of cookies by configuring the settings of your browser software accordingly. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all the website functions in full.

If you do not agree to the storage and usage of your personal data, you can disable these functions in our cookie consent tool or in the browser settings. In this case, an opt-out cookie is stored in your browser, for example, which prevents Matomo from storing usage data. Deleting your cookies will also delete the Matomo opt-out cookie. The opt-out cookie must be reactivated when you visit our website again.

5. Will my data be disclosed to third parties?

Your personal data will only be disclosed or transmitted to third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of fulfilling the contract (in particular where order data is sent to suppliers), if this is necessary for billing purposes, or if you have previously given your consent in this regard. Calling up script or font libraries triggers a connection to the respective library provider.
